Deyvon Ladell Rosa aka D-Duce, was born August 25, 1988 at Harlem Hospital to proud parents Mary Magdalene Russell and Lamont Rosa. His parents knew early on that their son had a close connection with music. At the tender age 3 little Deyvon preformed at his first party, rapping in front of an astounded group of onlookers. Even though the toddler’s rhymes could not be understood his mother was certain that her son had found his calling, performing. At the age of 6 Deyvon discovered another way to wow captive audiences and it came by way of Elizabeth Ortiz a family friend. Liz founded a tap group named Tap Tyme Entertainment and would teach Deyvon to tap dance. Over several years the tap group performed at many functions in and around New York City. This experience truly shape and honed his on stage performance skill giving him confidence on and off the stage. In a relatively short period of time his tapping abilities had improved and he begin helping Liz teach others tap. Deyvon was now 8 and during this time he began making mix tapes with his childhood friend Perry Terrell Mills A.K.A. (Young Problems). Perry was the person who inspired Deyvon to become a rapper. The two spend hours developing their lyrical skills and recording.  Jay-Z had just dropped the “Reasonable Doubt” album. By the time the “Hard Knock Life” album was released Deyvon now 10 years old and going by the moniker D-Duce knew that he wanted to be the best rapper alive.

Many years had past and many shows had been rocked, D-Duce now a teenage was so prolific as an MC that he started to make a name for himself Uptown and in the Bronx. Performing at Riverbank Park, Flavas Lounge, College Radio Station in N.J, Paradise Café and The Pyramid, he began to catch the eyes and hears of many record labels and managers viding for the opportunity to represent the young lyrical maestro.  Of all who came knocking one in particular connected with D-Duce on a personal and professional level. Jamur (Zeck) Phames of NBM Management took a different approach in regard to the future of D-Duce.  He actually cared about the well being of his client and friend and, became a mentor to fledging rapper. With Jamur in his corner D-Duce could now focus on his work, being an MC.  He would go on to record several albums and appear on multiple local area mix tapes. As one record deal after another fell through the two had to rethink their tactics forward the record industry and the machine that runs it. Presently the two have negotiated a deal with Enterprize Entertainment Group, a record label and multimedia conglomerate out of New Jersey, where Jamur will function as one of the CEO’s in charge of management, marketing and promotions and D-Duce will be one of the label’s premier artists.

It is without a doubt that Deyvon "D-DUCE" Rosa is the next "Coming". The rap game will be reshaped and that architect is D-Duce.
